Anatoly Bogdanenko is a Candidate of Sciences in Public Administration, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Administration of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Social Sciences at the Kyiv University of Aviation and Information Technologies, PhD student at the “Zhytomyr Polytechnic” State University, Head of the Ukrainian Foundation for International Youth Cooperation “Leader” for supporting education, science and innovation. Founder of educational and missionary Christian projects, book publisher. Laureate of international, church and public awards.
Researcher of Christian theology and public administration, analyst in the field of church-state relations, specialist in attracting foreign investments in the reconstruction of social housing and construction, volunteer, entrepreneur, writer.
Anatoliy Bogdanenko is keenly interested in the history of law and international relations of the Ukrainian People’s Republic in 1917-1921, the history of national regional geography, the history of Great Britain, and the history of the Celts, Wales and Northern Europe.
For his significant contribution to the development of legal culture among participants in social and labor relations and the strengthening of social dialogue in Ukraine, Anatoliy Bogdanenko was awarded a certificate from the National Mediation and Reconciliation Service. He has a number of other state and public awards. For his self-sacrificing service to preserve God’s gift of freedom and independence, he was awarded the “Cross of Freedom” medal, as well as the order of Saint Archstrategist Michael II degree from His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphany of Kyiv and All Ukraine.
The driving force of today’s state-building transformations is characterized by the great attention of many Ukrainian scientists to the communicative activity of Ukrainian Orthodoxy because, thanks to this, a number of tasks related to the construction of relations between the Ukrainian state, the Church and civil society are solved. All this actualizes the need for a theoretical and methodological study of the impact of the value ideas of the Hero of Ukraine, the outstanding church hierarch of our time, the Most Holy Patriarch of Kyiv and All Rus-Ukraine Filaret (Denysenko). Many scientists hold this opinion, leaders of public opinion, politicians and journalists, in particular, Anatoliy Bogdanenko, candidate of sciences in public administration and Denys Martyshyn, doctor of sciences in public administration, doctor of theology, associate professor, who, recently, to the 95th anniversary of the Holy Patriarch Filaret published the book “Ukrainian Orthodoxy in the Philosophy of State Administration”.
On January 26, 2024, His Holiness Patriarch Filaret of Kyiv and All Rus-Ukraine met with scientists at his residence. They congratulated Patriarch Filaret on his 95th birthday, thanked him for his prayers and support, and presented books and flowers to His Holiness. During the meeting, Denys Martyshyn noted that Patriarch Filaret’s spiritual, moral, national ideas and patriotic aspirations are the driving force of state-building transformations, and the valuable system of social teachings of the Orthodox Church determines the future of Christendom.
At the end of the spiritual communication and greetings, Patriarch Filaret awarded Anatoliy Bogdanenko the Blessed Certificate for developing Ukrainian science and church book publishing.
